I found out exactly 1.2 seconds after I clipped into them on my driveway. 1.2 seconds is how long it took for me to fall right on my driveway.
According to my biker friend Rob Sorensen you are required to fall 7 times in order to master the use of clipless pedals. That was number one.
Last night I hit the trails at Lambert Park in Alpine with Skip Abst. Number two included impaling myself on my handle bars.
